So I didn't get into Sweeney Todd (which I'm a lot less disappointed about than I thought I'd be; I felt such a wave of relief when I got the e-mail this morning, thinking to myself how I wouldn't die trying to manage my time).

And I got Puppy Bowl III on DVD today so I'm definitely having a watching party for that this weekend. I've never watched a puppy bowl but it sounds like the freakin cutest thing ever.

Gertie's been acting up, the fan is loud, and I need a can of compressed air according to dell support, but the computer help desk here doesn't have any so I'm going to have to hunt for some next time I'm in civilization where there are hardware stores to browse.

I actually got a really nice night's sleep last night. I didn't do nearly as much reading as I was supposed to do, but I went to sleep around 1:30 and slept until 10:45. I also watched a few minutes of The Lion King on my iPod before falling into a very refreshing night's sleep.

I feel like I might actually be able to manage my work today and tomorrow. The screening tomorrow gets out at 9-ish, and the essay for Polisci probably won't be too difficult, and the reading for documentary media is a lot shorter than I thought it was (it's still pretty long though, don't get me wrong). But between today and tomorrow, I can get it done.

Anyway, I'm off. I'm finally being useful on Rachel's senior project this semester; I'm meeting her and Robbie in Avery to work out the set-up for this weekend's shoot.

I'm feeling slightly less stressed out now than I have been lately, but I'm still busy as fuck. We'll see how it goes.

Oscars in 18 days! I still am not entirely sure who to pick for Best Original Screenplay or Best Supporting Actress. And although I'm planning to go with Sean Penn for Best Actor, I would LOVE to see Richard Jenkins snag that one. Same with Kate Winslet probably getting Best Actress but I'd love to see Anne Hathaway take it. Anyway, I'm off.
